Press Chat began earlier this year when Covid started changing the way we live our day to day lives. Our very own, Joe Kern, began reaching out to contacts in his address book and offered them a safe space to vent about their frustrations. Through Press Chat, insight of the day to day life of attendees from around the world was offered. People from all different aspects of the graphic arts community show up with varying points of view.

Press Chat has since blossomed from a weekly forum to a true support group, as one member once put it. There are attendees that show up week after week offering advice and insights as to what is working well for them, as well as things they have tried that haven’t worked quite as well. Some attendees are even offering services or sharing suppliers to those in need! There are also attendees who make it only when they can. They sit in and listen to what others have to share. All are welcome and can participate as much or as little as you like, but rest assured, there is never a dull moment or awkward silence - thanks to a few key members ;)

Countless friendships have been made and even a number of new business partnerships have begun as members share their stories of hardships and successes. Whether or not you are part of the DocketManager family, we wholeheartedly invite you to become part of the Press Chat Community. We are all in this together, and everyone can use a little extra support during these difficult times.

We meet every Wednesday at 2pm EST, and sometimes the conversations spill over to our newly formed Linkedin Group. This group offers a safe space for those who are a little camera shy to safely interact with the rest of the community. We are excited to keep the Press Chat running as long as our members keep showing up and continue to get the value out of the conversations that take place.
