June 17, 2020Here are some of the ways to create thumbnails.
New file enhancements allow thumbnails to be auto generated when uploaded or created manually with one click. Acceptable file types for thumbnail generation include PDFs and Rastor Type files (jpg, gif, png).
Manual Creation
Quickly create a thumbnail with the new thumbnail icon for files that are in file group that does not auto generate thumbnails or where thumbnails may have been deleted.
MIS Auto Generation
Choose which of your custom file groups will auto generate a thumbnail when an acceptable file type is uploaded.
W2P Auto Generation
Products that allow a file to be uploaded can now be set to auto generate thumbnails if the uploaded file is an acceptable file type. A good time to allow the thumbnail to generate would be a client that has a generic flyer product, and uploads new art each month. It would make sense to leave it off when the product is static artwork but they upload a new distribution list each month.
